Biography of Mr James Korsah-Brown ,A former aspirant of Mfantseman Constituency NPP

James Korsah-Brown is a former aspirant of Mfantseman Constituency NPP primaries, and his main vision is to support the grassroots far and near to benefit from the resources of the party machinery,to facilitate grassroots’ inducement of floating voters

James Korsah-Brown, comes from the Sir Arku Korsah lineage, Saltpond, Central Region.

Started his basic school in Tema Aggrey Road and Casely Hayford schools,and eventually joined Saltpond Anglican School from Class 6 to JSS 3. His mother, Mabel Felbah was one of the key individuals in the Late Adu Boahen’s Campaign team in Greater Accra and Central region.

James attended Tema secondary school and eventually University of Cape Coast where he Mastered in Economics and Mathematics, offering Econometrics, Advanced Economics, Advanced Differential Equation and complex time series. He was one of the only 5 graduates from that course in 2006 , and was number 2.

He further proceeded to pursue Micro Computer Engineering in the UK and further his MBA (International trade) in Germany,where he took key modules such as international business law,finance ,trade etc.

He is also CitiBank New York trained astute banker with over a decade experience in Corporate, Investment, Retail, Business and MSME banking.

Some of his key engagements as a banker includes but not limited to:

1. Ghana Ports Jetty Syndication – $ 20 Million (National Lead)

2. Cocoa LBC funding – GHS 300million (Club funding)

3. Fixed Asset funding – $ 16.5million (Refinanced Portfolio)

4. Balance Sheet Liability – GHS 23million ( composite clients)

In Banking,he has held the below positions:

1. Account Officer , Spintex Corporate
2. Unit Head , Maritime Banking
3.Head, Corporate Banking Tema
4.Area Manager,North Industrial Area

He has varied work experience in supply chain, events ,brand management etc in Holland ,UK and US.

James joined NPP as a minor in 1997 in Saltpond,after his first encounter with Ex President Kuffuor.

Though he lost primaries to the Late Hon.Ekow K Hayford,he was part of his campaign team prior to his unfortunate demise. Mfantseman populace though urged him to go independent after the decision to pick the window ahead of him to represent the party in Mfantseman,James called for calm and unity to foster a united front to win the seat convincingly.

He was very instrumental and visible and mobilizing the grassroots to give the party a convincing win.

James, a calm , tactful, caring and kindhearted Patriot is an asset.
